MY STORY
FROM CHRISTIAN TO NEW AGE
I grew up Seventh-day Adventist (a strict Christian denomination), and I always felt judged. We had so many rules to follow—but half the members of the church used religion as a way to mask their bad character. Going to church felt like a punishment, and I stopped attending when I entered high school. I decided to just focus on being a good person and became agnostic.
In high school, I got a taste of what I thought was freedom. I would go clubbing, get drunk, date toxic guys, and struggled with a porn addiction. Even though I was now "free," I felt more lost than ever.
In my 20s, I discovered New Age spirituality and began my "healing era." Partying was replaced with yoga and meditation, toxic men were replaced with tarot cards, and drinking was replaced with crystals. I took my life seriously, and things started to look up. I moved into my dream apartment, was dating my crush, worked and traveled whenever I wanted, and had a great connection with my "spirit guides." But the one thing I couldn't break free from was my porn addiction. Nothing was able to fill that void of loneliness in my heart.
Porn was ruining me. And that's when I learned that sin often disguises itself as freedom—until you try to leave. That’s when you realize it wasn’t freedom at all, but bondage. I was at my wit's end, and I cried out to Jesus to save me. He delivered me from the spirit of lust, and a 10-year porn addiction was broken overnight.

After Jesus saved me, I decided to try out a few non-denominational churches before finding one that felt like home. My new church helped me develop a true relationship with God.
In June 2025, I received a divine message to focus on expanding Jesus’s kingdom. Far too many women believe they are living in freedom, but are actually in bondage. My mission now is to help women unlearn the ways of the world and embrace God’s truth.
Creating ASMR was deeply fulfilling to me in my early 20s, but now my mission has shifted. I may still upload ASMR when I feel called to, but @SliceofJas on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram is where you’ll find me most.
